Davis Mountain Preserve – Open Days and Weekends 2011
The Nature Conservancy’s Davis Mountain Preserve has released their open weekends for 2011. The Davis Mountain Preserve (home of Mt. Livermoore 8378 feet, highest in the Davis Mountain range) will be open on the following dates:

March 12th – Open Day
April 9th– Open Day
May 13th – 15th Open Weekend
June18th – Open Day
July 22nd – 24th Open Weekend
August 6th– Open Day
September– -TBA
October TBA
December 3 & 10 Open Day / Tree Hunt
On open weekends, the preserve will be open from10a.m.on Friday until 3p.m. on Sunday. On open days, the preserve will be open on Saturday from 9a.m. to 4p.m. Visitors are able to camp, horseback ride, hike picnic, among other activities. Overnight camping is allowed at the Center, Madera Windmill & 48 Tank.
